Please briefly describe any previous laboratory experience
Spent 1 year characterizing neuropathology of blast-induced neurotrauma. Helped build familiarity with mouse surgery, plating and staining techniques, as well as microscopy and simple statistical analysis. Spent a semester designing hydrogel to heal internal injuries which gave me an introduction to various cross linking methods for hydrogel formation. Spent summer creating cellular model for secondary acute myeloid leukemia. This gave me a lot of comfort with the molecular biology methods listed above.
What is your favorite food or song or song about food?
