Chan Lab (HKUST) Undergraduate Research Assistant Summer 2015 - Assisted with the troubleshooting of PAM (Potential Aerosol Mass) chamber experimental set up for the study of secondary aerosol formation under oxidizing conditions - Analyzed ACSM (Aerosol Chemical Speciation Monitor) data obtained in Mong Kok, Hong Kong, and investigated the effect of typhoons on particulate matter pollution episodes
Chisholm Lab (MIT) Undergraduate Research Assistant April 2014-June 2015 - Set up and monitored experiments investigating chitin and amino acid mixotrophy in the marine cyanobacteria Prochlorococcus and Synechococcus - Maintained cell cultures of Prochlorococcus and Synechococcus - Worked on bioinformatics project to determine core vs. flexible genes in the new LLIV Prochlorococcus strains
