Weekly Progress
Monday
- Ordered filters from Thorlab and Semrock have arrived
- Stepper motors had to be exchanged due to an error in specification
- Added BF path for simultaneous imaging using shortpass dichroic for blue LED
- Filter was necessary to eliminate reflection of the laser in the BF image
- Aligned paths and adjust field of view so that BF and fluorescence displayed the same picture
Optics for everything besides the laser completed.
Wednesday
- Meeting with Duo Li, grad student from Fujimoto's lab.
- Collaboration has been established to build the femtosecond laser.
