High School: Designed a SmartBandage (polymer low-cost diagnostic tool embedded with oxygen-sensitive nanoparticles) to improve the accuracy of wound care, developed a prototype, computer model, and conducted murine trials

Freshman IAP: 7.396

Summer after Freshman Year: Worked in a molecular biology lab in France characterizing the function of a novel gene in Drosophila by creating mutants for specific traits, manipulating the molecular pathway, and identifying and imaging embryos in real time

Sophomore IAP: Worked at a foundation designing a PID-controlled temperature regulatory system for focused ultrasound rodent muscle trials

Summer after Sophomore Year: Worked at a pharmaceutical company formulating guanylate cyclase pathway drug candidates (made tablets and tested them)
