Paula Trepman is a senior at MIT studying Biological Engineering and Applied International Studies. Paula conducted red blood cell research, worked at a maternal clinic in rural Guatemala, started a sustainable greenhouse program in Mexico, and conducted policy research at the World Bank through MIT’s Washington DC Summer Internship Program. She is a Tau Beta Pi Service and Engineering Fellow, Millennium Campus Network International Grant Recipient, Truman Scholarship Finalist, and co-Executive Director of MIT’s Global Poverty Initiative. Paula plans to apply her training in engineering, medicine, and public health to increase access to quality healthcare using innovative technological approaches.
